✞ ~ ♕ ~ ~follow this blog for soft grunge pastel goth vibez~ ~ ♕ ~ ✞

I cannot be the only one annoyed by those follow this blog for... taglines right?

First, thank you for the kind comments on my last post. It's great to know there are some very cool not sucky people out there!
And now... I'm gonna do a photo dump/inspiration post because I need to purge and my computer hardrive will thank me for clearing some space.

I've also noticed an abundance of pastel hued waifish springtime kitschy photos saved to my computer so I'm lumping them all here.

I have way more pictures than this saved so I may do another photo inspiration post soon. I don't like doing these big photo posts when they don't have a unifying theme. Hopefully this makes sense and doesn't just look like a random collection of cutesy pastel pictures.

Err yeah. Leave a comment below telling me what you think. What are you most excited for this summer?

ICE ICE Baby!

The Raincoats ~ Adventures Close To Home (press play)

Today I volunteered at the Indie Craft Experience (aka I.C.E.). I don't think I've ever written about them on this blog before!? Which is crazy because I've gone almost every year since tenth grade. In short, the Indie Craft Experience is a chance for small businesses and vendors to sell homemade goods in an indoor flea-market/ swap meet setting. There's always plenty of cool crafts, delicious food and good music. I wish I had more stuff for people who aren't local, but if you are in or around Atlanta check out one of their events. When you do, bring lotsa cash monay, because you WILL want everything in sight.

All images via ICE's facebook page.

I spent most of my time working the door, but I did manage to get some stuff. Sucky webcam photos for no reason other than I'm too lazy to get my camera.
One Screw Loose Jelly (AKA BEST Jelly on earth)
 Washi Tape
Homemade Jasmine/Shea Soap

Oh, I had the worst time getting home. My shoelace got caught and I fell off my bike in front of dozens of cars O_O. Luckily my pride was bruised more than anything else. Then a stink beetle flew into my face and when I tried to remove it, it squirted me! My eyes were watering the whole ride home. I made it back safe, and enjoyed my new bourbon jelly on some biscuits while watching The Fall, cause I'm a classy dame.

HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS! THE EVENT IS ON 'TIL TOMORROW.
ATL readers I beckon you to go. First 250 visitors get a free "swag bag" with some really cool goodies. Even if you don't get one you'll have loads of fun. Scout's honor.

Whoops...I arted

Hey, remember when I used to post pictures of things I actually made on here and stuff, because that is the fundamental purpose for blogging right? Sharing original content, that is. I feel as though had a tremendous weight lifted off my chest/body/life. I'm gonna devote this weekend to doing things I've left long neglected for people I really care about, because I feel like I can adequately express these things now. Okay onto the brief photo spamz!

Melodys Echo Chamber - Mount Hopeless

This adorable little creature is, Zzyzx. She came to life as a way to deter the guy who kept hitting on me on the train and asking to see what I was so focused on writing in my notebook... Plus I love the thought of a humanoid alien in 1950s attire, for reasons.

Johnny Panic inspired comic...which is perpetually in hiatus/development what have you.

I keep drawing this really rad afro demon chick. I seriously have no idea why and it's great.
Something big or something small. Time will tell.

quick (and terrible) doodle of Chance the Rapper

This is a part of something I've wanted to submit to Rookie for a while. Better do it before I'm not a teen anymore!
Stalkin and drawin subway people.

Hmmm maybe?

Oh and did anybody else know Meshell Ndegeocello is a person who exists in real life? Because I didn't and she is all I could ever wish for in an artist. She is PJ Harvey, if PJ Harvey grew up in the Bronx and was fed a steady diet of The Last Poets and Curtis Mayfield, shaved her head, and bled dopeness. And I love her.
